The position of a person with a disability is great with Allah, and disability is counted as Allah’s special attitude toward people he loves more than others. It’s pleasant to spend time with these friends of Allah and be thankful for all the blessings. Annually, disabled children from Khajeh Abdullah-e Ansari Institute (known as children of paradise) are invited by Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization in Afghanistan to have their Iftar with the charity’s staff. The charity’s transportation bus picks up the children and takes them to Fifty-Fifty Restaurant. They eat their Iftar meal with the charity’s staff and spend the rest of the night in the amusement park of the restaurant. This gives us the opportunity to bring some sort of joy and delight to children, and their happiness and joy make everyone excited. Besides, during the year the charity provides them with further assistance as well.
We wish every person that is financially independent and could help the poor and disabled people of our dear Afghanistan, to take a step ahead and donate. By sacrificing part of one’s wealth and giving it to charity, the individual is guaranteeing protection on the Day of Judgment.
The poet Saadi Shirazi says, “do good and the good will come to you.”
