Netherland Office
The Netherlands Office is located in The Hague and is engaged in collecting charitable contributions from donors and providing information about the organization’s activities to members of the Afghan community in the Netherlands. The office is headed by Mr. Abdul Rahim Jafayi.
History
The Netherlands Office has been operating in The Hague for many years. The office works closely with members of the Afghan community and charitable donors, helping to raise support for the organization’s activities in Afghanistan.
Activities
The office collects charitable contributions, including Sadaqah, Nazr, Sahmain, Fitrana, and Ramadan Kaffarah, and transfers them to the organization’s offices in Afghanistan. These donations support a variety of charitable projects, including assistance for needy families and orphans, educational support for students, medical aid, winter assistance, tailoring workshops, household items for newlyweds, group marriage ceremonies, and the distribution of Iftar meals. During emergencies such as earthquakes and floods, the office also helps raise additional support for affected families. The office also organizes events to commemorate the birth and martyrdom anniversaries of Imam Jawad (A.S.). These gatherings provide an opportunity to introduce the organization’s work and encourage greater support for its charitable activities.
Women's Empowerment Program Supported by Afghan Women in the Netherlands
Helping vulnerable families achieve self-reliance is one of the key priorities of Imam Jawad Charity Organization. As part of this commitment, the organization operates a tailoring workshop in Herat, providing women from low-income families with vocational training and income-generating opportunities.
With the generous support of Afghan women in the Netherlands, the workshop was further developed in 2019 and has since helped many women acquire valuable sewing skills and earn a sustainable income to support themselves and their families. By creating opportunities for employment and financial independence, the program enables women to build a more secure future for their households and contribute to the well-being of their communities.

Wheelchair Donation Supported by Donors in the Netherlands
People with disabilities often face many challenges in their daily lives, but disability should not be viewed as a limitation. Many individuals with disabilities actively contribute to their families and communities and lead productive and meaningful lives.
With the generous financial support of a group of donors living in the Netherlands and in cooperation with Imam Jawad Charity Organization, several wheelchairs were distributed to people with disabilities under the organization’s support in Herat, Afghanistan, on June 19, 2023. The donated wheelchairs were provided to help improve mobility and make daily activities easier for the recipients.
We warmly invite generous donors and supporters around the world to join us in helping people with disabilities by providing the support and essential equipment they need. These individuals do not need pity; rather, they need practical assistance and access to resources that can help make their lives easier and more comfortable.
