Netherland Office
The Netherlands Office is located in The Hague and is engaged in collecting charitable contributions from donors and providing information about the organization’s activities to members of the Afghan community in the Netherlands. The office is headed by Mr. Abdul Rahim Jafayi.
History
The Netherlands Office has been operating in The Hague for many years. The office works closely with members of the Afghan community and charitable donors, helping to raise support for the organization’s activities in Afghanistan.
Activities
The office collects charitable contributions, including Sadaqah, Nazr, Sahmain, Fitrana, and Ramadan Kaffarah, and transfers them to the organization’s offices in Afghanistan. These donations support a variety of charitable projects, including assistance for needy families and orphans, educational support for students, medical aid, winter assistance, tailoring workshops, household items for newlyweds, group marriage ceremonies, and the distribution of Iftar meals. During emergencies such as earthquakes and floods, the office also helps raise additional support for affected families. The office also organizes events to commemorate the birth and martyrdom anniversaries of Imam Jawad (A.S.). These gatherings provide an opportunity to introduce the organization’s work and encourage greater support for its charitable activities.
Financial Support of the Female Benefactors in Holland for the Tailoring and Self-Employment Workshop of Underprivileged Women in Afghanistan (Herat)
Job creation and self-sufficiency of the underprivileged families in Afghanistan, and other places where the Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization operates, form a significant part of the mandate of this Organization.
The tailoring workshop of the Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization that was established in 2019 has created job opportunities for many families who earn their living wage by sewing clothes. This workshop with a long history, started working professionally with new training methods, and with the cooperation of devoted Quranic Women in Holland.
The Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization humbly requests all the benefactors living around the world to take an extra step for their compatriots and support these honored sisters who work hard to eliminate their financial problems and become independent.
