Kabul Office
Imam Jawad Charity Organization established its Kabul Office in 2009 with the support and dedication of a group of committed volunteers and community members. The office was created with the goal of supporting vulnerable and underprivileged families and expanding the Organization’s humanitarian activities in Kabul province.
Since its establishment, the Kabul Office has continued its activities with a spirit of compassion, service, and commitment to humanitarian values inspired by Islamic teachings.The Kabul Office is currently managed by Haji Abdullah Ahmadyar.
Imam Jawad Charity Organization (IJCO) is an independent non-governmental public welfare organization that operates based on Islamic values and the teachings of the Holy Quran. The Organization provides humanitarian and social services on a voluntary basis and is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number (686), regularly submitting its financial reports to the relevant authorities.
Imam Jawad Charity Organization provides a wide range of support services through its Kabul Office, including financial assistance, food aid, hot meal distribution, sacrificial meat distribution, fuel assistance, healthcare services, clothing support, marriage and household assistance for newly married couples, shelter construction, educational support, emergency assistance for people affected by natural disasters, and other essential social and cultural services.
Funding for these initiatives is provided through public donations, contributions from generous supporters of the Organization, and charity collection boxes distributed across different areas of Kabul city.
Giving and helping those in need are among the noble values encouraged in Islamic teachings
and humanitarian traditions. In line with its mission and humanitarian responsibilities, IJCO welcomes the support and cooperation of generous donors and compassionate individuals who wish to assist orphans, vulnerable families, and people in need.
There are several ways to support the Organization’s activities and humanitarian programs, including:
• Requesting charity collection boxes
• Sponsoring monthly family support assistance
• Donating religious contributions such as Zakat, Khums, Fidyah, Kaffara, and votive offerings
• Financial and cash donations
• Donating food items, Qurbani meat, clothing, hygiene supplies, stationery, cooked meals (Iftar), tools, containers, and household items
• Supporting medical assistance programs
• Contributing to livelihood and job creation initiatives
Supporters and donors who wish to meet orphaned children and vulnerable families under the Organization’s care, or personally deliver donations and bring joy to families in need, are welcome to coordinate with the Organization and visit the charity office.
