Performing Social issues are the duty of social services officials. Considering the number of challenges that our country is facing, lots of services are either not implement or implement incompletely. Most of the time, people volunteer to take part in some of these social tasks spontaneously. Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization runs many projects in this area to give services to poor and underprivileged people. These services include improving access to clean water in needy localities, building houses for the poor, dowry allowance for marriage, rent payment, job creation by creating various workshops such as tailoring, basket weaving, carpet weaving, saddlebag weaving (Khurjeen), and many other social tasks that cover aids in unexpected events such as payment of funeral expenses for underprivileged people.
Improving access to clean water
Considering the importance of water in life and the lack of access of our honored compatriot to this element of God’s Grace, Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization handles this problem by digging deep wells and equips them with a solar system and a water pump. The purpose is to help underprivileged people who don’t have access to life’s primary needs.
Building shelter for underprivileged people
One of the basic human rights in his/her life is having lodging. Unfortunately, a large number of our compatriots are deprived of this right. Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization tries to solve the problem by building houses for underprivileged people.
Dowry allowance for marriage
Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization considers the financial problems of families under the support of charity for providing their life necessities. For this reason, the charity offers a dowry allowance for girls, and a marriage allowance for boys in order to help the parents of the couple and lay the groundwork for getting married.
Marriage allowance
In the social service department, Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization assists the poor youths in the important matter of starting their family by providing their marriage expenses and conducting their wedding ceremonies in both individual ceremony form and collective ceremony form.
Rent payment
One of the services that Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization provides to underprivileged people is paying their rents.
Entrepreneurship
To support and provide job opportunities for poor people in society, especially for underprivileged families in our country, Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization established different workshops and introduces talented youths and adolescents to trustable shops, factories, and organizations for charity. These workshops include sewing, carpet weaving, saddlebag weaving (Khurjeen), and basket weaving. Besides, founding “Resalat” Schools which are a sub-brunch of the Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization, provide job opportunities for many teachers and principals.
Funeral allowance
Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization pays all the Funeral expenses of the members who are under the support of charity in case of their death. In addition to all these permanent services which are mentioned, Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization presents other social services in all sites of the country in emergency cases like occurring floods, earthquakes, landslides, and other unexpected events as much as possible.
