Commemoration of Islamic occasions is one of the prominent programs of the Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization. Every year, a splendid ceremony is held in all the offices of this Organization in Kabul, Herat, and Mashhad cities to celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Jawad (A.S). By the grace of Allah, this year’s ceremony was held with the presence of many of our compatriots.
This year, the officials of the Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization in Herat decided to allocate the budget for the celebration of Imam Jawad (A.S)’s birthday anniversary to the Charity’s medical and healthcare services. The budget, funded from the personal expenses of the officials, was used to treat patients, both permanent beneficiaries and other underprivileged patients. This decision was made in response to the shortage of funds and the increasing number of heart, kidney, and cancer patients to alleviate some of their medical problems. Saving the lives of these patients is crucial and has a significant impact on society as a whole.
We firmly believe that honoring religious ceremonies is a sacred ritual, and it is essential for us to uphold this important tradition, even in the presence of a small number of guests. With this in mind, a splendid ceremony took place at the Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization office in Herat. The event begun with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by the esteemed international reciter of the country, Mr. Mohammad Javid Akbari.
Following the Quran recitation, Mr. Hassan Shah Hassanzadeh graced the gathering with beautiful hymns and praises for Imam Jawad (A.S). This was followed by a speech from Hojat al-Islam Mr. Rouhani. After the speech, a video clip, showcasing the annual activities of the Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization, was presented to the audience. To conclude the event, the guests were hosted and the ceremony ended.
