Employment and self-sufficiency are significant aims of the Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization in Afghanistan. For this reason, the charity created various workshops for underprivileged women that have been successful until now. The tailoring workshop was established in 1385 (2006) and unfortunately after a few years of activity, due to some problems came to an end. With Allah’s mercy and the contribution of dear benefactors, the workshop started working again in 1397 (2018) on the second floor of the main office of the organization in Herat. The workshop has provided practical and theoretical tutorials for 60 women. At the end of the workshop, a certification with a sewing machine is presented to each individual.
