On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Jawad (A.S.), the Imam Jawad Charity Organization held its fourth collective wedding ceremony, this time for 20 couples in the city of Kabul. The event aimed to encourage simplicity, discourage extravagance, and facilitate marriage, and it was warmly received by young couples and their families.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches from Islamic scholars and figures highlighting the blessings and benefits of simple marriages. Following this, the program included spiritual and cultural activities that created a serene and uplifting atmosphere for the attendees.
In this round of the Organization’s collective wedding initiative, all expenses for the ceremony were covered, and 50 essential household items were gifted to each couple. This effort was designed to support young couples in starting a simple and stable married life.
The ceremony concluded, but its message—promoting the culture of simple and Islamic marriage—remains alive in the hearts of the participants.
