With the blessings of Allah and the generous support of our donors, the Imam Jawad Charity Organization has successfully completed the first round of charcoal distribution for the winter of 2024, aimed at supporting families in need.
In this round, 110 tons of coal were provided to over 2,000 individuals from 432 families under our care. Additionally, thanks to your contributions, we purchased and distributed coal-burning stoves to 150 families, helping them stay warm and navigate the winter months with greater ease. This initiative was designed to ensure that vulnerable families have access to adequate heating during the harsh winter season.
Unfortunately, due to Afghanistan’s ongoing economic challenges, many deserving families still lack the basic necessities for winter survival. To address this, we plan to launch a second round of charcoal distribution soon and need your continued support to make it happen.
