Human beings are, without doubt, members of a whole that cannot be apathetic about each other. Especially in our country Afghanistan, where most of the population lives below the poverty line and is deprived of life’s basic necessities.
Our compatriots in Khost, Paktia, and Paktika incurred extensive loss of life and property damage due to the recent earthquake in these cities. The earthquake was very destructive as many of our compatriots died or were injured and their livestock dead. Likewise, many homes had collapsed or were severely damaged.
Considering the needs, Imam Jawad (AS) Charity Organization’s team in Kabul rushed to the affected area and provided food assistance such as rice, oil, beans, sugar, and grams for affected families. Besides, the charity’s mobile medical teams visited the injured and provided them with essential medicine. May Allah accept the generous donation of those who support us and reward them immensely.
