“In the name of Allah”
Human beings are members of a whole In creation of one essence and soul
If one member is afflicted with pain Other members uneasy will remain
The recent tragic incident of devastating earthquakes in Herat City, Afghanistan, resulting in the destruction of countless homes and claiming the lives of our fellow compatriots, was heartbreaking news. Without a doubt, this was a trial from Allah to test us on how we respond to each other in difficult situations.
The Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization which has always been with people in difficult situations, sent its emergency relief team to the affected areas in the early hours of the incident, and also the following days, to inspect the nature of the damage. As a result of doing this, the Charity declared its priority to support the affected people of Bashirabad, Chahak, Nayebrafiq, Siah Ab, Sarbuland, Sanjab, Ghaar-e Moshakha, Asiabadak, Kariz Marwa, Rabbat Sangi, Sheermast, Khaje Sarbar, Ahmadi town, Jayeh, Nooqra and all other devastated areas. With the coordination of the Department of Economy, this Organization provided food, warm clothes, bread, cooked meals and tents to the affected people, and also sent its emergency medical team for the treatment of the injured. By this, we get to perform our duty towards our suffering compatriots, and your donations reach the right, deserving people.
Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization believes that livelihood assistance is not enough, and fundamental serious action should be taken for the affected people. Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization also thinks about displaced people; the majority of them are from the working class. This Charity distributed food to 1,200 families and tents to many underprivileged families around the city.
We pray to Almighty Allah for all the deceased high ranks in Jannah, and speedy recovery for the injured. Like in the past, we anticipate your cooperation in the foundation works that are to be done for the earthquake-damaged area.
We have always been and are with our people.
Imam Jawad (A.S) Charity Organization’s team.
