Food distribution to 65 needy families in Sheberghan

The Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity Foundation – Farah Province Branch organized the Second Quran Recitation Competition in three categories: children, teenagers, and youth. The winners were announced at a ceremony held at Seyyed al-Shohada Mosque, highlighting the Foundation’s continued efforts to promote Quranic education and religious and cultural development in the community.

The Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity Foundation carried out a comprehensive Qurbani meat distribution program during Eid al-Adha 1404 across several provinces of Afghanistan, including Herat, Kabul, Farah, Nimruz, Badghis, and Balkh, as well as surrounding villages. With the generous support of donors from around the world, 194 sheep and 2 calves were slaughtered and their meat was distributed among needy and vulnerable families, supporting the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and social solidarity.

Officials of the Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity Foundation visited the Foundation’s centers in Farah Province to review ongoing activities and services. The visit focused on assessing educational, social, medical, cultural, and livelihood programs and identifying the needs of the communities and families supported by the Foundation.

The Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity Foundation distributed food packages containing flour, fresh meat, cake, and other food items to more than 170 families supported by the Foundation. The initiative, carried out with the support of generous donors, aimed to provide essential food assistance, improve nutrition, and support the well-being and dignity of families in need.
