The best way to help those in need is to create job opportunities that guide them toward self-sufficiency, so they no longer have to depend on others. For over three decades, the Imam Jawad Charity Organization has been serving low-income families and has always been committed to this important mission. The organization demonstrates its dedication to this cause by establishing self-employment workshops, including sewing, embroidery, beadwork, knitting, macrame, carpet weaving, and other handicrafts suited for women.
In addition to operating in the holy city of Mashhad and the historic city of Herat, a sewing training center for women was launched in Farah province a year ago. Since then, two training rounds have been completed, and certificates, along with sewing machines, have been awarded to 30 graduates. With the continued support of our valued donors, we hope to expand our services and provide additional sewing classes for women eager to learn this skill.
