As winter approached, the Imam Jawad Charity Organization carried out its annual Winter Fuel Assistance Program in December 2025. During this round of support, bags of charcoal were distributed to vulnerable families in Herat and Badghis provinces. The beneficiaries included households registered with the organization (permanent beneficiaries), returning migrants, and residents of nearby villages who were unable to afford winter fuel.
Earlier this season, the organization launched an appeal for donations to help secure winter fuel. Thanks to your generous response, we were once again able to bring warmth into the homes of families in need. We extend our sincere appreciation to all donors whose kindness made this effort possible. Your trust and continued support motivate us to reach even more families and sustain this humanitarian mission.
It is worth noting that many families still remain on the waiting list for winter fuel assistance. If the necessary funds are secured, the Imam Jawad Charity Organization is prepared to launch a second round of distribution. We therefore ask all our generous supporters to continue their assistance and help us reach the remaining families still in need.
