The celebration of the blessed birth anniversary of Imam Jawad (A.S.) was held on Wednesday, 31 December, at the main office of the Imam Jawad Charity Organization in Herat. The event was attended by respected guests and members of the community who gathered to take part in this meaningful occasion.
The program began with the recitation of Hadith al-Kisa by Mr. Mehrdad Mohammadian, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Ustad Mohammad Reza Nouri, creating a calm and spiritual atmosphere throughout the gathering.
The ceremony continued with devotional poetry by Mr. Rahmani, adding warmth and depth to the event. This was followed by the screening of a short video highlighting the activities and achievements of the Imam Jawad Charity Organization during the year 2025. In the final part of the program, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Akif Wasiqi delivered a speech on the life and character of Imam Jawad (A.S), bringing the ceremony to a respectful close. The event concluded with a shared meal for the guests.
Such gatherings not only honor important religious occasions, but also strengthen community ties, promote the values of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), and encourage moral and social responsibility. They also provide an opportunity for reflection, unity, and learning from the lives of the Imams.
