In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The Farah branch of the Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity Foundation had held the competition on 29 Hamal 1404 (April 17, 2025) in three categories: children, teenagers, and youth. Participants were evaluated in three main aspects: Tajweed, melodic recitation (Lahn & Sawt), and pauses & starts (Waqf & Ibtida). The announcement of the winners took place on 20 Saratan 1404 (July 11, 2025) at Seyyed al-Shohada Mosque, located opposite the Imam Jawad (A.S.) Clinic.
The winners were as follows:
• Children’s category: 2 winners
• Teenagers’ category: 4 winners
• Youth category: 3 winners
The ceremony was attended by Quran enthusiasts and local residents. The respected judges—Ustad Asadullah Jafari, Ustad Taher Danishmal, Ustad Noorullah Yousufi, and Qari Abdul Qadir Jafari—performed recitations. Following the announcement of winners by Dr. Mahdi Meysam, the Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity representative in Farah, the event concluded with closing remarks by Sheikh Salman Fayyaz, Imam of the Mohammadi Grand Mosque in the village of Yazdeh.
The Imam Jawad (A.S.) Charity Foundation has always given special attention to the religious and cultural affairs of the community. In line with this vision, several Quran classes are continuously active under the supervision of the foundation in Farah Province, most of them in underprivileged areas. These classes are located in Qala Arbab, Imam Jawad (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa, Yazdeh Shomali, Qala Behbood (Hazrat Abolfazl (A.S.) Mosque), and Jafari Grand Mosque.
A total of 171 students—both boys and girls—are enrolled in these classes, where they are taught basic reading, fluent recitation, and Tajweed skills.
